Perry, Afton; Mrs. Dora Spencer, Lovingston; Mrs. Carrie Thompson, Theodore Fitzgerald, both of Mechums River; Mrs. Essie Fitzgerald and Maury Fitzgerald, both of Roseland; James Fitzgerald of Charlottesville; and Curtis Fitzgerald, of Avon. Also surviving are 44 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet. Waynesboro News Virginian-date of paper: December 15, 1945 Funeral services for Obdiah Harrison Fitzgerald, 82, who died at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Hebron Baptist Church, with the Hebron Baptist Church, with the Rev. B. F. Robinson, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church, with the Rev. B. F. Robinson, pastor of Hebron Rockfish Valley Adial Baptist Charge, officiating. Funeral procession will leave the Etter Funeral Home, where the body will remain until the time of the services, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the cemetery adjoining the Hebron Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Puckett Fitzgerald; ten children, Mrs. Virginia Barker and Mrs. A. H. Berry, both of Waynesboro, Route 1; Mrs. Susie B. Perry, Afton; Mrs. Dora Spencer, Lovingston; Mrs. Carrie Thompson, Theodore Fitzgerald, both of Mechums River; Mrs. Essie Fitzgerald and Maury Fitzgerald, of Roseland; James Fitzgerald, of Charlottesville; and Curtis Fitzgerald, of Avon. Serving as active pallbearers at the funeral will be Theodore Landes, Jessie Landes, Luther Berry, Hollis Cash, Pete Fitzgerald and Jacob Quick.
