While in Germany, Pauline married Carl Burow on 5 November 1869 at Lanzig. Carl was a "Buduer?" living at Crolow. He was 29 years old. Pauline was 22 years old, the daughter of Carl Kruggel who was a "Tagelsfuer" at Crolow. Their marriage record is in the books of the Evangelical church at Lanzig, 1869, page 385, record # 11.
