Frank Albert Burow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Burow, was born June 30, 1889, in Crolow, Germany and came to the United States with his parents in 1893. He married Ida Sands in 1914. He farmed in the Midway area for many years before he retired in 1942 and moved to Cushing. He had been a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Midway since his youth. He is survived by his wife, one son, Albert Burow of Battle Creek, one daughter, Mrs. Dora Harderson, one brother, Herman Burow of Cushing, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Strackbein of Battle Creek and Mrs. George Bottjen of Remsen. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, February 19, at the Hudgel Funeral Home in Anthon at 1:30 p.m. and at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Midway, at 2 p.m. with Pastor E.T. Rehwaldt officiating. Burial was in the Midway Cemetery.
