Description	:	Pauline M. Kail age 93, of Dover, formerly of Jewett-Scio area, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011 at Park Village Health Care Center, Dover. Born Feb. 22, 1918 in Scio she was the last surviving daughter of the late Charles Thomas McDevitt and Ola Lightner McDevitt. She graduated from Scio High School in 1936 and was a homemaker. Born Feb. 22, 1918 in Scio she was the last surviving daughter of the late Charles Thomas McDevitt and Ola Lightner McDevitt. She graduated from Scio High School in 1936 and was a homemaker. Pauline attended Dover United Methodist Church, was a member of the Scio United Methodist Church and a former member of the Jewett United Methodist Church. She was also a former member of the Scio Order of the Eastern Star, Scio Elevian Club and the Valie Lanes Bowling League in Jewett. She was an avid reader but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Roland "Abe" Kail in 1996; a son, Richard "Butch" Kail in 1984 and siblings, Ernest, Robert, Kenneth and Chuck McDevitt, Lucille Cramblett, Marie Gotschall, Mildred McGinnis and infant Gertrude McDevitt. Surviving are her daughters, Janet (George) Stringer of Brookville, Ind., and Judy (Dan) Dozer of Columbus; grandchildren, Scott (Karen) Stringer, Heather (Richard) Ortman, Kami (Travis) Howell, Amber Gamble and Toby Kail; daughter-in-law, Corky Kail (Bob) Stonebraker; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Rev. Bruce McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Gardens, Jewett.
