Description	:	Mrs. Nellie Jansma died at the Sacred Heart hospital in LeMars, Iowa, at 6:30 o'clock, February 1, 1931, at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 5 days. Nellie Hyink was born May 29, 1864 at Milwaukee, Wis. She grew to womanhood there and came at the age of 20 with her parents to Newkirk, Iowa. She was married April 22, 1886 to John Jansma at Newkirk. In their years of life together they lived at Newkirk, Maurice, Boyden, Matlock, Alton, Hull, Andover, S.D., and Gascoyne, N.D, where Mr. Jansma passed away July 14, 1912. Since then she lived... Nellie Hyink was born May 29, 1864 at Milwaukee, Wis. She grew to womanhood there and came at the age of 20 with her parents to Newkirk, Iowa. She was married April 22, 1886 to John Jansma at Newkirk. In their years of life together they lived at Newkirk, Maurice, Boyden, Matlock, Alton, Hull, Andover, S.D., and Gascoyne, N.D, where Mr. Jansma passed away July 14, 1912. Since then she lived at Sioux Center, Orange City and with her daughter Mrs. George Reimers, near Boyden. To their union ten children were born, six of whom are now living. They are Andrew of Doon, Ia.; Gerrit and Maude (Mrs. George Reimers) of Boyden, la.; Nelson of Sioux City; Edward of Council Bluffs, and Henry at the Naval Training Station at Hampton Roads, Virginia. She is also survived by four sisters and six brothers and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Jansma was a member of the W. C. T. U., the American Legion Auxiliary, the Ladies' Aid and the Lillian McConnell Missionary society. At, the age of fourteen she gave her heart to God at an evangelistic meeting conducted by the Rev. P. P. Bliss in Milwaukee. For over 52 years, she has been an earnest follower of Christ. At the time of her death she was a member of the United Presbyterian church at Boyden. She was a good wife, a loving mother and her friends are numbered by those who knew her.- The Boyden Reporter, 2/12/1931
