Description	:	ROBERT BENJAMIN PRESZLER "Bob" was born June 26, 1920 on the family farm at Meadow, SD to Jacob and Christine (Albrecht) Preszler. He received his education at Meadow Central through the 10th grade. He attended Lemmon High School for the eleventh and twelth grades and graduated from high school in 1938. Bob worked on the family farm until 1941 when he went to Tacoma, WA to work in the shipyards. He returned to Meadow in 1945 and again worked on the family farm until 1946. Read More	ROBERT BENJAMIN PRESZLER "Bob" was born June 26, 1920 on the family farm at Meadow, SD to Jacob and Christine (Albrecht) Preszler. He received his education at Meadow Central through the 10th grade. He attended Lemmon High School for the eleventh and twelth grades and graduated from high school in 1938. Bob worked on the family farm until 1941 when he went to Tacoma, WA to work in the shipyards. He returned to Meadow in 1945 and again worked on the family farm until 1946. He then moved to Lemmon and worked at the Lemmon Coop for two years. Then Bob started his own trucking business which he operated until 1995. Bob married Betty Olson on September 24, 1950 at Bison, SD. They continued living in Lemmon and farming at Meadow until the time of his death. He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved farming, fishing, hunting and playing pool. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and his granddaughter Allison. Bob passed away on Monday, May 14, at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger. Surviving family members include his wife, Betty; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and LeeAnn Preszler, Lemmon, SD; 1 granddaughter, Allison Leigh Preszler; 2 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Harry "Hank" Preszler, Rapid City, SD; Kenneth and Joyce Preszler, Lemmon, SD; Dallas Preszler, Meadow, SD; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Pearle Ehlert, Little Chute, WI; Mildred and J. Fred Voigt, Cordova, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Gary Robert Preszler, 4 brothers, Arthur, Ervin, Raymond and Harold Preszler, 2 sisters, Lillian Johnson and Esther Watts. Funeral services for Bob Preszler, age 86 of Lemmon, will be Thursday, May 17, at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lemmon. Rev Frank Gantt will officiate with burial in Greenhill Cemetery at Lemmon. Serving as casketbearers are Dwight Wenner, Dean Larson, Daryl Storm, Jonathan Wiechmann, Caleb Wiechmann, Luther Schoon, and Chuck Christman.
