Description	:	Robert Gibbs was born in Buckingham, England, in 1858, came to America in 1872. He came with his parents to Omaha, Nebr., was married to Emma J. Stowers in 188(3?). To this union were born 8 sons, 5 daughters. 3 sons have passed on. He came to Kansas in the year of 1902. Mr. Gibbs joined the reorganized church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1892, continued a member until the time of his death. He had a long sickness, was in poor health most of his life. He leaves to mourn, his wife, 10 children, all grown. The funeral was held from the Christian church at 2 o'clock Monday, May 11, by Rev. C. V. Pearce, pastor of the church. Music by Miss Moody, Mr. Wise, Mr. and Mrs. Pearce. The body was laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery.
