She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1945 and married Tom Bretz on March 29, 1947. Roberta retired as a clerk in the purchasing department at the Union Pacific Railroad in 1986, after 40 years of service. Roberta was born November 11, 1926, in Council Bluffs, to the late Robert B. and Sena (Madison) Sealock. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1945 and married Tom Bretz on March 29, 1947. Roberta retired as a clerk in the purchasing department at the Union Pacific Railroad in 1986, after 40 years of service. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher; Lakeshore Country Club, where she and her husband were avid golfers. Together they won many trophies. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Bretz, in 1993; sisters, Doris Sealock, Ardyth Bryant, Bonnie Griffin, Hazel Hall; brothers, Lyall, Everette, Lester and Leo Sealock. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Wilson and husband Floyd, of Papillion, Neb.; brothers, Gerald Sealock and wife Kathryn, Lawrence Sealock and wife Barbara, all of Council Bluffs; many nieces and nephews whom she adored. Visitation with the family, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with Rev. Tom Boomershine officiating. Interment, Ridgewood Cemetery, with a lunch following at Epworth Methodist Church. Memorials to the church preferred.
