Description	:	Ronald C. Witte, 59, died at his home in Hastings Monday. He was a brother of Mrs. Ed Rempe, Superior. A rosary will be at 7:30 p.m., today (Thursday) in the Butler-Volland Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday in St. Cecilia Catholic Church with the Revs.Matthew Eickhoff and Valerian Bartek officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Hill Catholic Cemetery. Witte was born Jan 27. 27, 1930, on a farm south of Lawrence. He attended St. Stephen's and District No. 35 schools near Lawrence. In April, 1949, his family moved to a farm southeast of Blue Hill where he helped his father farm. He married Mary Alice Kosmacek Sept. 24, 1953, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Blue Hill. They moved to Hastings where he began working for Hastings Equity Grain Bin. They moved to a farm northeast of blue Hill in 1955 and he became a full-time farmer in 1956. They moved to another farm in 1964 where they lived until moving to Hastings in April, 1989. He retired from farming in 1987. Survivors are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Roger Alber (Marilyn) of Blue Hill, Mrs.Ed Krontz (Ann) and Mrs. Jeff Hinrichs (Ronda), both of Hastings, Mrs. Robert Woodward (Kathy) of Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Dave Duncan (Linda) of Franklin; his mother, Charlotte Witte, Blue Hill; four sisters, Mrs.Robert Buschkotter (Mildred) of Indianola, Mrs. Edward Rempe (Joan) of Superior, Mrs. Rod Hartman (Doris) o Blue Hill and Mrs. John Degener ( Marie) of Hastings; five brothers, Walter of Blue Hill and Louis, Alvin, Richard and Robert, all of Hastings; and 12 grandchildren. Superior Express, Superior, Nebraska, November 2, 1989. ============================================ Ron Witte passed away Monday, October 30th in Hastings. Rosary services will be Thursday evening at 7:30 at the Butler Volland Funeral Chapel. The funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Matthew Eickhoff and Father Valerian Bartek officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Catholic Cemetery. Survivors are: his wife Mary; mother Charlotte Witte of Blue Hill; five daughters Mrs. Roger (Marilyn) Alber, of Blue Hill, Mrs. Ed (Ann) Krontz, Hastings, Mrs. Robert (Kathy) Woodward, Grand Junction, Colo.; Mrs. Jeff (Ronda) Hinrichs of Hastings, Mrs. Dave (Linda) Duncan of Franklin and one son Alan Witte of Hastings; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Buschkoetter of Indianola, Mrs. Eddie (Joan) Rempe of Superior, Mrs. Rod (Doris) Hartman of Blue Hill, Mrs. John (Marie) Degener of Hastings; five brothers, Walter of Blue Hill and Louis, Alvin, Richard and Robert all of Hastings.
