King. She passed away April 2, 2007 at the Huntington Park Care Center, Papillion, Nebraska after a lengthy illness. Ruby attended Villisca Public Schools and graduated from Villisca High School on May 29, 1937. She married Charles Edgar Anderson in 1937 in Clarinda, Iowa. Read More	RUBY (BABE) FRANCES PATTERSON CROMLEY Ruby (Babe) Frances Patterson Cromley was born November 18, 1919, 2 miles east of Shenandoah, Page County, Iowa to Frank Charles Patterson and Hattie B. King. She passed away April 2, 2007 at the Huntington Park Care Center, Papillion, Nebraska after a lengthy illness. Ruby attended Villisca Public Schools and graduated from Villisca High School on May 29, 1937. She married Charles Edgar Anderson in 1937 in Clarinda, Iowa. One daughter was born to this union, Marilyn Janet Anderson Schweigart. She later married Nicholas Christopher Cromley. Ruby lived in California and worked for the Civil Service in shipping and receiving on the submarine base "United States Navy's Mara Island Shipyard" at Vallejo, Solano County, California. She was working there when V. J. Day-"Victory over Japan Day" occurred. She later moved to Red Oak, Iowa and resided with and took care of her mother Hattie after her father passed away. She worked at the Medicine Chest and Montgomery County Hospital during those years. After her mother passed away she moved to California for a brief period then moved back to Nebraska and resided at Bellevue Place Apartments, 1808 Warren Street, Apartment 214, Bellevue, Nebraska where she spent her retirement years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Marilyn Schweigart on July 6, 2006, six sisters, Ila Grace Finkle, Geneva Arlene Jones, Ada Joyce White, Fay (Sis) Sheard, Lois Fern Patterson, and Marilyn June Patterson, the last two dieing in infancy; two brothers, Harold Patterson and Jay (Buddy) Patterson. Surviving is one sister, Dorothy Fuls of Springdale, Arkansas, son-in-law, Fredrick Schweigart, grandsons, Bradley Schweigart and wife Brenda and Douglas Andrews and wife Charity all of Omaha, Nebraska, great-grandchildren Myles and Emma Schweigart and Tatum and Jessica Andrews, and many nieces and nephews. Ruby was cremated and burial will be at a later date at Villisca Rose Hill Cemetery, Villisca, Montgomery County, Iowa.
