Description	:	WILLIAM HAROLD PATTERSON William Harold Patterson, the son of Frank and Hattie Patterson, was born September 19, 1916 at Villisca, Montgomery County, Iowa. He was entered into rest March 22, 1974, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane, Washinton, at the age of 57 years, after a short illness. William Harold Patterson spent most of his life in Montgomery County. He attended the Villisca Schools, was baptized in the Villisca Methodist Church. Read More	WILLIAM HAROLD PATTERSON William Harold Patterson, the son of Frank and Hattie Patterson, was born September 19, 1916 at Villisca, Montgomery County, Iowa. He was entered into rest March 22, 1974, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane, Washinton, at the age of 57 years, after a short illness. William Harold Patterson spent most of his life in Montgomery County. He attended the Villisca Schools, was baptized in the Villisca Methodist Church. During World War 11 he served his country for five years, October 7, 1940 to October 22, 1945 in Company "F" 168th Infantry Regiment, Villisca, Iowa, classification as a private. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and of the American Legion Ker-A-Vor Post No. 251, Villisca, Iowa. He was proceeded in death by his father, and by two sisters who died in infancy. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Hattie Patterson of Red Oak, Iowa, one brother, Jay of Omaha, Nebraska, and six sisters, Mrs. Grace Finkle of Palm Desert, California, Mrs. Ruby Cromley of Red Oak, Iowa, Mrs. Arlene Jones of Red Oak, Iowa, Mrs. Dorothy Fuls of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Joyce White of Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. Fay Sheard of El Campo, Texas, and also 29 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. Services were Monday, March 22, 1974 at 2:00 PM from the Wolfe Funeral Home, Villisca, Iowa. Officiating was Rev. Eldon Haworth. Organist was Mrs. Mabel Dunn. Casket bearers were Dennis Jones, Harold Jones, Larry Skalberg, Loren Manhalter, Robert Manhalter, and Kelvin Jones. Presentation of flag by American Legion Ker-A-Vor Post No. 251.
