She was born southwest of Glasco and lived with her parents until June, 1913, when they moved to Glasco. Her early education was received in the public schools near Glasco. Read More	Glasco Sun May 23, 1957, page 1: Final Rites Held For Sadie Frances Butler Sadie Frances Butler, daughter of the late Richard and Mary Butler, was born at Glasco, Kansas, May 23, 1880, and died May 15, 1957, at St. Joseph's hospital, Concordia, Kansas, aged at the time of her death 76 years, 11 months and 22 days. She was born southwest of Glasco and lived with her parents until June, 1913, when they moved to Glasco. Her early education was received in the public schools near Glasco. She attended Nazareth Academy in Concordia, Kansas. She was a devout and faithful member of the Catholic Church. Her kindness and thoughtfulness of others won her a lifelong love and esteem in the hearts of all who knew her, and she was held in highest regard by neighbors and friends. She worked in St. Joseph's Hospital for several years. Later she and her sister, Catherine, who preceded her in death, lived in Glasco. She leaves to mourn, one sister, Mrs. Ella Downey of Glasco. her parents, ten sisters and three brothers, preceded her in death. Final rites were held Friday morning, May 17, 1957, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father James Grennan officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery with McDonald Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Joe Downey, Jim Downey, Gerald Downey, Pete Deneke, Leo Deneke, and Dennis Martin. Obituary by Friend, Cheryl White -------------------------
