HETRICK WRITES TO BE HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN METHODIST CHURCH - MARRIED 50 YEARS LAST FALL-WAS ILL THREE WEEKS; LEAVES HUSBAND, DAUGHTER AND SONS; HAS BEEN ENTIRE LIFE IN THIS COMMUNITY The death of Mrs. Jennie Hetrick, wife of J. E. Hetrick, West Street, occurred Wednesday afternoon, May 15, at 3:30 after an illness of three weeks. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the M. E. Church of which she was a devout member. Rev. David S. Lamb, her pastor, will be assisted by Rev. J. See. Strubel, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. The body was taken to the Warwick Funeral Home where it will remain until the funeral hour, Saturday, and where friends may call from 7 to 9 Friday evening. Mrs. Hetrick was the daughter of Rebecca and Henry Flickinger, born May 4, 1863, in Fairfield Township and had lived her entire life in Columbiana and vicinity where she was esteemed by all who knew her and was known as a kind and devoted mother and grandmother. In November 1884, she was united in marriage with J. E. Hetrick, celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving day last year. She was an active member of the Methodist aid society. Surviving besides her husband Jacob Hetrock, are one daughter, Mrs. May Tyson, two sons, Lavana[sic] and Ira of Columbiana, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be made in Columbiana Cemetery.
