HAMLIN REPORTER Thursday February 11, 1915 Mrs. Robert Shannon died at her home, 111 Utah St., Monday Feb 8. Had she lived until Feb 23 she would have been 80 years old. M---son of Guilford, Conn and Mrs. Wm. Cashell of Kent, Ohio. Mrs. Cashell arrived Tuesday a.m. from Ohio and Mrs. Guilford[sic] may come. The sons who live at a distance will not come for the funeral. On Dec. 28, Mr. and Mrs. Shannon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They had lived in Brown county 43 years and in Hiawatha eight years. The funeral will probably be held Thursday p.m. at the Methodist Church. - Hiawatha World.
