Lee Young Wright Nuckolls, 87, died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN, from congestive heart failure. She was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ. She was born and reared in Chester County in the Cabo community area. She was the daughter of the late Robert Walter & Tempie Elizabeth Newsom Young. She attended schools in Chester County and in 1934 was married to Issac Wright of the Sweet Lips community. They made their home in the Sweet Lips - Cabo community until his death in 1950. She later married Richard Nuckolls and they lived in the Oak Grove community until his death in 1986. She is survived by three children: Elizabeth Ann Wright Rhodes and spouse Donald of Simpsonville, SC; Jerry Neal Wright and spouse Pati of Memphis, TN; Judy Wright Ellis and spouse Kenneth of Jackson, TN. She is also survived by one sister Nannie Weatherington of Memphis, TN. She has six grandchildren: Tammy Richardson of Belo Horizonte, Brazil; Tracy Rhodes of Murfreesboro, TN; Alan Ellis of Jackson, TN; Leann Ross of Ft. Meade, MD; Ben Wright of Carbon hill, AL, and Bobby Wright of Memphis, TN. She has fourteen great-grandchildren: Jesse Richardson, Joshua Richardson, Jonathan Richardson, Aubrey Rhodes, Amy Byrd, Hayden Ellis, Drew Ellis, Jackie Ellis, Tori Ellis, Olivia Ross, Sarah Ross, Caleb Ross, Braden Wright and Blake Wright. Visitation will be at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson, TN on Sunday, January 30, 2005 from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will also be held at Casey Funeral Home on Monday, January 31 at 11:00 AM, burial will follow at Sweet Lips Cemetery. Ministers officiating will be son-in-law Donald Rhodes and grandson Ben Wright. Donations can be made in her name to the following organizations: Jackson Christian School, 832 Country Club Lane, Jackson, TN 38305; East Main Church of Christ, Brazil Mission Fund, P.O. Box 1761, Tupelo, MS 38802. She was a loving mother who gave of herself and was a source of great strength and happiness to all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
