Read More	The Emporia Gazette, 23 Dec 1904, Wed T. P. HALL DEAD T. P. Hall died last night about 10 o'clock at his home, 201 South Merchant Street. Death was due to kidney trouble, from which he had been a sufferer for many years. For the last few weeks he had been too sick to leave his bed, and death was expected at any time. T. P. Hall was born near London, England, and came to America when young. In 1857 he came to Kansas and located on a farm near Emporia. He lived on West Sixth avenue until a few months ago, when he moved to the house in which he died. He was a member of the Odd Fellows, and the funeral will be conducted under their direction. It will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Congregational church, and the funeral sermon will be delivered by Rev. Frank Ward. Mr. Hill was the father of six children, but with the exception of a married daughter, who lives in Emporia, none of them will be able to attend the funeral. The children are: Frank Hall, who lives in Rico, Colo.; Joseph Hall, who lives in Alexandria, Ind.; Elmer Hall, who lived at Pueblo, Colo., when last heard from; Mrs. Della Clark, of Alexandria, Ind.; Mrs. Libby Johnson, who lives in Oregon, and Mrs. Samuel Harvey, who lives in Emporia. Mr. Hall was a member of the Congregational church and was respected by all who knew him. He has been a resident of this county for nearly fifty years, has two brothers living here now who conduct the Hall Brothers music store. ****************************************** The Emporia Gazette, 24 Dec 1904, Thu I.O.O.F. Hall were held at the First Congregational church, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services under the direction of the Emporia lodge of Odd Follows and the sermon was delivered by the pastor, Rev. Frank G. Ward. The church choir furnished the music and burial was made in Maplewood cemetery.
