Never before did the people of Lincoln township witness such a wealth of flowers. There were little wagonloads of them, many of the best designs being sent by state officers of Montana and the Elks lodge, of which the deceased were members. When she fully realized that her father and uncle had been killed by a train while riding in an automobile, the little Kiri bemoaned their fate, saying that the train should have stayed on its own track and not got on the track that the automobile was occupying. The grief of this little girl and her disappointment in not meeting her father again in this life touched the hearts of all. The remains were first taken to the home of the parents of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Kelly, near Blessing, who reared twelve children, nine sons and three daughters, to mature manhood and womanhood. The tragedy brought the first deaths into the family circle of fourteen. The bodies of Tim and Will were placed in graves side by side in a lot in the Blessing cemetery.—Waterloo Courier. Kelly, aged 35, and William Kelly, aged 30, brothers of Attorney General Dan M. Kelly, were killed late this afternoon when their automobile was struck by the westbound North Coast Limited of the Northern Pacific. The accident happened between Whitehall and Cardwell, stations about 40 miles east of Butte. The Kellys, who are well known stockmen, according to the engineer and fireman, attempted "to beat" the train to the crossing, the engineer stating that he did not see the automobile until his engine was upon it. A curve behind a slight elevation of ground obstructed his view of the road approaching the crossing. Timothy F. Kelly, who is a prominent stockman of South Dakota and a breeder of blooded cattle, had just arrived in Montana to sell a number of thoroughbred livestock. William Kelly is the owner of a large ranch near Piedmont. Timothy F.
