Read More	Victor Damman, 91. of Napoleon, Ohio died peacefully Wednesday, October 6, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon. He was born June 21, 1919 in Freedom Township, Ohio to the late Fred & Freida (Bostelman) Damman. On May 2, 1948, he married Marie Badenhop at the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wauseon. Victor was a lifelong farmer and owned and operated Damman Ditching for many years. He was a faithful member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township his whole life and was a member of the St. John School Board, Cemetery Board, and was an elder on several occasions. He was a recent recipient of the 2010 Agriculture Hall of Fame for Henry County. He is survived by his wife, Marie Damman; children, Randall (Sandy) Damman of Napoleon, Cheryl (Larry) Sausser of Wauseon, and David (Teresa) Damman of Napoleon; grandchildren, Kelly (Bart) Grubbs, Scott (Andrea) Damman, Brooke (Pete) Henry, Kirk (Tara) Sausser, Kyle Sausser, Kolby (Brittany) Sausser, Kara Sausser, Krista (Joe) Howard, Sarah (Curtis) Wilson, Kayla Damman, Jessica Damman, and Lucas Damman; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Ruth) Daman of Lafayette, CA, John (Marlene) Damman of Delta; sisters, Luella (Loren) Beck of Gibsonberg, Pauline (Mylo) Gerken of Ayersville, and Kathleen (Kenneth) Gerken of Napoleon. He was preceded in death by brothers, Franklin, Henry, and Arnold Damman. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp. with Pastor Stephen Neirmann officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and on Monday 1 hr prior to the funeral at the church. The family suggests memorials to the St. John Lutheran Church, the Napoleon Lutheran Home, or Hospice of Henry County.
