She was a member of St. John's Church, St. John's Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the choir. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband William; children, Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Luzum of Dorchester; Mervin Meinke of Crete; and Gary Meinke of Crete; sisters, Mrs. Carl (Adeline) Meinke of Crete; and Mrs. William (Esther) Heitman of Crete; brother Orval Jans of Seward; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
