Description	:	The Brown County World, 27 December 1907 William D. Frazey was born in Ohio, September 26, 1840, and died at his home in Hiawatha, Kansas December 19, 1907. He was married in Mt. Carroll, Illinois to Miss Susan Zook, May 1, 1861. In 1869 they moved to Brown county, Kansas, residing on a farm until 1894 when they moved to Hiawatha. Mr. Frazey served in the civil war, Company A, 146 Illinois Volunteer Infantry and was honorably discharged. At the age of 16 Mr. Frazey was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church. Frazey was born in Ohio, September 26, 1840, and died at his home in Hiawatha, Kansas December 19, 1907. He was married in Mt. Carroll, Illinois to Miss Susan Zook, May 1, 1861. In 1869 they moved to Brown county, Kansas, residing on a farm until 1894 when they moved to Hiawatha. Mr. Frazey served in the civil war, Company A, 146 Illinois Volunteer Infantry and was honorably discharged. At the age of 16 Mr. Frazey was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church. Here he gave of his means to the work of God, here he served as a superintendent of Sunday schools, here he led the class meeting and here he was taken for the last time, wherein his relatives and friends me to pay their last respects to one who had "fought a good fight." Mr. Frazey was an honored member of the Knights of Pythias, Life and Annuity, and Grand Army of the Republic lodges. His wife, six children, two brothers and two sisters survive. A sister died at Sheldon, Iowa, December 18, which prevented relatives from attending the funeral here. The funeral was conducted by Dr. J.W. Scott, December 21, 1907.
