Frank was a mighty good man, well known and liked by all the people of our community. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. W. W. Richmond. Members of the Odd Fellows Lodge, of which the deceased was an active member, attended in a body and had charge of the burial service at the grave. Six of their number, John Harper, W. I. Dopp, Frank Prochaska, John Martin, Anton Olson and S. N. Dotson, acted as pall bearers. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet composed of Mesdames Charles Marshall and M. M. Fletcher and Messrs. Lester Pilcher and J. L. Fletcher. Interment was in Glasco Cemetery. William Franklin Jamison was born at Unionville, Putman County, Missouri, January 16th, 1869. When but four years of age, he came to this community where he chose to spend his entire life. His death occurred at the family home at 9:45 a. m. September 6, 1926 at the age of 57 years 7 months and 20 days. At Abilene, Kansas, July 3rd, 1893, he was married to Miss Irena Finch. To this union three daughters and two sons were born. One son, J. Franklin, passed away in 1896 at one year of age. For many years he has been an active, interested member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. Although Frank, as he was known to all, had suffered for nearly three years with a heart affliction, his many friends scarcely realized the seriousness of the malady for he met this new burden with no complaint and wore his same old smile. Frank was reserved and quiet, but all who knew him felt his sincere friendship. Besides a great number of friends he leaves his wife, Mrs. Irena Jamison, three daughters, Myrtle E. Miller of Glasco; Vera D. Jamison, of the home; Claire I. Jones of Circleville, Kansas; one son Raymond P. of the home; and two brothers, Charles of Glasco and Jesse L. of Orange, Calif.
