McKinney Private family prayer service will be Wednesday morning at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for Mrs. Wilma Pauline McKINNEY, 54, who died Monday at 12:01 p.m. at the Miller nursing home here. Death came, after an extended illness from multiple sclerosis, in the nursing home. Mrs. McKinney previously resided at Poet's Point on the north shore of Lake Manitou. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. The Rev. Allan BYRNE will officiate at rites and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The family requests that remembrances other than flowers be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Mrs. McKinney was born July 23, 1910, in Rochester, and had spent her life in this community. Her parents were William and Mabel NORMAN ZIMMERMAN. Her marriage was to Scott McKINNEY, who preceded in death. Mrs. McKinney long was employed in the office of the county surveyor until her health failed. She was a charter member of the Kappa Delta Phi sorority and the Rochester Rebekah lodge. Surviving are the mother, Rochester; a daughter, Mrs. Monna Jo CHEVRE, St. Paul, Minn.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph and Byron ZIMMERMAN, both of Rochester; three sisters, Mrs. Nina WAECHTER, Los Angeles; Mrs. Hugh (Lura) KIRKENDALL and Mrs. Stanley (Anita) SAMUELSON, both of Rochester, and several nieces and nephews.
