Wilson Owen Baker was born in Audubon county April 18, 1894, the son of John and Minnie Baker and moved with his parents to Dickinson county in 1907 at the age of 13. He was married to Evalyn Taylor of Perry on Nov. 27, 1918, and they made their home on a farm in Superior township for 28 years. He was active in community affairs. He retired in 1946 because of a farm accident and moved to Spirit Lake where he has resided since. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife; two brothers, Edward of Coon Rapids and John of Spirit Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Droll of Downey, Calif. and Mrs. Neil (Beulah) Nelson of Spirit Lake; and a number of nieces and nephews.
