Mr. Dreher was a sectional storekeeper for the materials department of Santa Fe Railway before he retired in August 1977. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born July 8, 1915 at Schoenchen, the son of Nickolas and Katherine Bieker Dreher. He lived in Hays before he moved to Topeka in the early 1940s. Read More	Aloysius John "Al" Dreher, 70, Topeka, died Tuesday, April 29, at a Topeka hospital. Mr. Dreher was a sectional storekeeper for the materials department of Santa Fe Railway before he retired in August 1977. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born July 8, 1915 at Schoenchen, the son of Nickolas and Katherine Bieker Dreher. He lived in Hays before he moved to Topeka in the early 1940s. He has live in Las Vegas, Nev., part of each year since February 1978. Mr. Dreher was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church at Las Vegas, Nev. He was married to Viola Allendorf Oct. 20, 1946 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Catherine Foreman, Manitou Springs, Colo.; two sons, Donald G. Dreher, Las Vegas, Nev., and Ronald D. Dreher, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Robinson, Manhattan, and Mrs. Irene Clark, Topeka; a brother, Theodore Dreher, Topeka; and five grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Dreher will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday. Topeka Capital-Journal, 4/30/1986
