Description	:	Betty Jean Skellenger 4/27/1927 - 3/21/2011 Betty passed away on March 21, 2011 peacefully at home. She was born in Clinton, Iowa on April 27, 1927. She was a beautiful woman, a beloved soul with a big heart and loved by all that knew her. Her sweet smile and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, James Moore, Michael Moore, Janice White, and Pamela Jones. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased in death by her dear husband Wayne Skellenger. I noticed the Betty Jean's place of birth did not agree with the info contained in the obit on her memorial; so I submitted a change. At first, I thought I might have submitted a change to her place of birth field, but I went back and checked my accepted edits and found none. Betty Jean was married to an Unknown Moore prior to her 1969 marriage to Wayne J Skellenger; I have not been able to find her maiden, but I'm still looking. I believe this marriage was also a second marriage for Wayne J Skellenger. I'm beginning to believe his first wife (who died in 1968) was Dorothy May Baxter Skellenger; also buried in Newcastle.
