Read More	HEAT FATALITY AT LOVELAND ---------------------------------------- Burley Mace Overcome in Harvest-field -- Funeral Today ---------------------------------------- Loveland, July 24. -- Burley Mace, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Monterville Mace, was overcome by the heat yesterday afternoon and although medical aid was had for him as soon as possible he never regained consciousness and died about 5 o'clock. In the morning he was shocking grain in the ravest field for Albert Green and about 10 o’clock complained of feeling bad and although he objected to leaving his regular work was induced to get on the binder and drive the horses till noon. Afternoon he said he felt better and went to shocking once more. At 2 o’clock he complained again and was soon unconscious. He was 19 years old and was a model young man. His father is one of the prosperous farmers of this vicinity and as the work was done on the farm he allowed the boy to go out and earn what money he could for himself. He was the oldest of four boys. He was a member of the Missouri Valley camp of the Modern Woodmen of America and carried $1,000 insurance in that order, the policy being made payable to his father. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church in this city at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning, the services being conducted by Rev. W. L. Jones and Rev. Joseph Moss.
