She is also survived by a daughter Lori Jean Kutka Porter M.D. and her husband Brian and their children, Clare Catherine, Ryan and Michael Porter all of Virginia. Her siblings are: Martin Veenker, deceased; Ralph Veenker of Iowa, Mary Jo Haarsma of Iowa, Judith Veenker of Texas, Rita Stockman of Texas, Dorothy (Donald) Staas of Texas, and Linda Veenker (Cris Johnson) of California. Catherine will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Cat Association of Topeka (C.A.T.) and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
