Description	:	Cecil A. Perriguey, 87, of Sedalia, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born December 18, 1923, in Pettis County, a son of George L. and Hazel (Mosby) Perriguey. On August 3, 1946, in Sedalia, he married Gloria Marie Reiter, who survives of the home. He was a faithful member and strong supporter of LaMonte Christian Church where he previously served as deacon. Cecil lived on the family farm near LaMonte his entire life. Perriguey, 87, of Sedalia, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born December 18, 1923, in Pettis County, a son of George L. and Hazel (Mosby) Perriguey. On August 3, 1946, in Sedalia, he married Gloria Marie Reiter, who survives of the home. He was a faithful member and strong supporter of LaMonte Christian Church where he previously served as deacon. Cecil lived on the family farm near LaMonte his entire life. Through his lifetime, he worked two full time jobs. He worked in the heating and air conditioning business. In 1966, he opened Sedalia Heating and Air Conditioning, which continues to be owned and operated by the Perriguey family. He was also passionate about farming. He found time in the evenings and on weekends to farm. His pride and joy was his herd of cattle. He was happy on the farm and that love passed to his family as his children all live on the family farm. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Betty Plummer, and her husband, Chester, Rick Perriguey, and his wife, Naomi, and Terry Perriguey, and his wife, Sharon, all of Sedalia; a brother, Ralph Perriguey, and his wife, Ruth, of Smithton; a sister-in-law, Pat Perriguey, of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Faron Plummer, and his wife, Jennifer, Clint Perriguey, all of Sedalia, Darin Plummer, and his wife, Kristen, of Warrensburg, Ethan Perriguey and Tara Perriguey, both of Sedalia; and three great-grandchildren, Cassandra, McKenzie and Toby Plummer. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Perriguey and Ruth Bottcher; and a brother, Earl Perriguey. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at LaMonte Christian Church with the Reverend Alan Morse officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Faron Plummer, Darin Plummer, Clint Perriguey, Ethan Perriguey, son-in-law, Chester Plummer and close family friend, Sam Igo. Honorary pallbearers will be church friends, Arthur Mahin, John Murray, Elroy Schroeder and Bud Wasson. Burial will be in LaMonte Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to LaMonte Christian Church or Show Me Christian Youth Home in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
