Memorials: Trinity Lutheran Church - Glenwood Charlene Louise Weseen daughter of Carl and Bessy (Hodson) Weseen was born on May 1,1931 in rural Red Oak. On June 18,1949 Charlene married Gail Edward White in Red Oak, IA. The couple was blessed with three daughters, Janice, Joyce and Barbara. The couple moved from Red Oak in 1968 to Glenwood where they made their home up until the summer of 2013 when they moved to Council Bluffs. Charlene enjoyed country music especially attending the country music jam every week in Council Bluffs. She enjoyed singing; enjoyed shopping and finding bargains; going to garage sales; camping with family and friends Charlene is preceded in death by parents; her husband, Gail; sisters, Gerry, Peg, Dort, Betty. Charlene is survived by her daughters, Janice Lewis and her husband Marvin of Emerson, IA, Joyce Hunter and her husband Fred of Pacific Junction, IA, Barbara Leet and her husband Larry of Searchlight, NV; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Jack Weseen of Council Bluffs, IA; sister, Shirley Alstate of Red Oak, IA; other relatives and a host of friends.
