Mr. Brodecker began work for Nelson-Ford Brokerage Company in Kansas City, Mo., as a salesman and was elected president of the company in 1960. He served as vice president of the French-Nelson-Russell Marketing Company from 1970until 1974 when he retired. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Brodecker began work for Nelson-Ford Brokerage Company in Kansas City, Mo., as a salesman and was elected president of the company in 1960. He served as vice president of the French-Nelson-Russell Marketing Company from 1970until 1974 when he retired. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born Sept. 15, 1918, in Holton, the son of Walter and Cora Wright Brodecker. He lived in Topeka from 1922 to 1942. Mr. Brodecker was a member of Ivanhoe Lodge No. 446, AF&AM, in Kansas City, Mo., and the Lampe Baptist Church. He was married to Helen Wright in Topeka. She died in 1972. He was married to Mava Lecrone in 1976 in Las vegas, Nev. She survives. Other survivors include three stepdaughters, Jody Elliott and Dalena Smith, both of Warrenton, Mo., and Kim Weigl, St. Louis, Mo., and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Eye Saddle Club in Blue Eye, Mo. Douglas Brown Funeral Home in Warrenton, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
