Brockett, of Melvern, were here Saturday in a touring car, on their way to Topeka, where Dr. Brockett entered a hospital for treatment. Brockett, 901 Morris avenue, died yesterday morning at 7:15 o'clock at Christ's hospital. His death was caused by appendicitis. Dr. Brockett was born May 2, 1882, (differs from year on stone) at Cottonwood Falls and lived in Topeka for twenty years. He received his education in the public schools and graduated from He Kansas Medical college in 1906. He was married in May of the same year to Miss Lillian Hendricks. He had been seriously ill since March 18. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves two brothers, Dr. W.P. Brockett and Dr. S.P. Brockett, The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the home of his parents.
