Description	:	Earl Zwick, the son of Alfred and Alice Zwick, was born on October 24, 1891 on the Zwick, homestead in Afton Township of Cherokee County; and died Saturday morning July 11 in Rochester, Minn., at the age of 61 years, nine months and 17 days. The Zwick family resided on the same farm, for 28 years before moving to the present home in Cherokee six years ago. Until his recent illness, many of Mr. Zwick's working hours were spent on the farm. He was. always active until the last few months when his health began to fail. He entered St. Mary's Hospital at Rochester on May 11. Survivors include: His wife, Florence; one son, Raymond of Aurelia; one daughter. Isabelle (Mrs. Junior Kastengren) of Larrabee; a daughter-in-law, Betty Zwick. Aurelia; one son-in-law, Junior Kastengren of Larrabee; four grandchildren -- Virigina and Bill Zwick, Janice and Jerry Kastengren; on sister, Mrs. Bertha Stoner of Sioux City; three brothers, Verne of Sutherland; Fred, Springdale, Ark; George, Cherokee; tgwo aged aunts -- Mrs. Mary Olhausen of Hartley and Mrs. Lottie Jenkins of Washta; also nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were from St. Paul's Methodist Church in Cherokee Tuesday, July 14 at 2 p.m. with Rev. J.E. Feller officiating. He chose scriptures from Psalm 121, Revelations 21:1-4, John 14:1-3, 15-21, 25-27. Solos presented by Mrs. Ben Abels were "Going Down the Valley" and "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers included members of pioneer families and former neighbors of the deceased. They were: William Sleezer, Arthur Phipps, McKinley McAfee, Irvin Hahn, Troy Mummert, Swen Axelson.
