Description	:	Edna Worley Anderson ST. IGNATIUS - Edna Worley Anderson, 78, of St. Ignatius, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 3, at her home. She suffered the past nine years from a rare disease, Mycosis fungoides, complications of which caused her death. Edna was born July 4, 1913, in Buhl, Idaho, to Fred and Lilian Worley. On Nov. 8,1930, she married Arvil Anderson and later sealed in the Cardston Alberta Temple. They lived in Idaho and California, returning to Montana in 1946 where they have resided since. She suffered the past nine years from a rare disease, Mycosis fungoides, complications of which caused her death. Edna was born July 4, 1913, in Buhl, Idaho, to Fred and Lilian Worley. On Nov. 8,1930, she married Arvil Anderson and later sealed in the Cardston Alberta Temple. They lived in Idaho and California, returning to Montana in 1946 where they have resided since. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed potato farming and working at the Mission Drug in St. Ignatius for 12 years. She also enjoyed picking huckleberries. Her hobbies included needlework, genealogy, and teaching her children to drive. Edna was an expert quilter of which she shared generously with family and friends. She loved compassionately, serving and sharing her time with her family and many friends. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving twice as Relief Society President as well as many other responsibilities. Survivors include her husband, Arvil of St Ignatius; five sons: David of Great Falls, Gail and Arvil Jr. of St. Ignatius, Howard of Lincoln and Clifton of Pasco, Wash.; two daughters, Lois Faw of Tucson, Ariz., and Karen Anderson of St. Ignatius; three sisters: Georgia Burgemeister, Alberta Chidester and Gertrude Maughan, all of Idaho; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Myrtle Smalley; a son, Rulon, and a grandson, Ted. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the St. Ignatius Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Rodney Arlint presiding. Interment followed at the Anderson family plot in Pleasant View Cemetery in St. Ignatius. Pallbearers were her sons and son-in-law, Thomas Faw. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons. The family requests that those wishing to make memorial contributions do so to the Mission Valley Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 516, St. Ignatius, MT 59865. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fearon-Riddle Funeral Chapel in St. Ignatius.
