She was born in Indiana and had resided more than 56 years in Council Bluffs. She was the widow of Nels C. Thompson who died in July 1972. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, Walter M. Dillehay of Council Bluffs; a sister, Hazel Dillehay of Carroll; brother Ralph Piper of Lake City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
