Hermann on January 11, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons; Nicholas E. Pfannenstiel and his wife Lynette in Wisconsin and William T. Pfannenstiel and his wife Pam of Garland, TX; a daughter, Susan M. Pfannenstiel of Topeka, and a sister, Marion Desch of Topeka. Four grandchildren, Traci, Ryan, Jason and Renae and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Hailey also survive. Edward will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. today at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A parish rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
