Description	:	Mrs. J.D. Morehouse ------- Elizabeth May Williams was born at Paris, Ill., May 15, 1847, and died December 20, 1921, aged 74 years, 7 months, 5 days. When a child she moved with her parents to Berlin, Ill., where grew grew to womanhood and was married September 10, 1871 to John Doren Morehouse. Morehouse ------- Elizabeth May Williams was born at Paris, Ill., May 15, 1847, and died December 20, 1921, aged 74 years, 7 months, 5 days. When a child she moved with her parents to Berlin, Ill., where grew grew to womanhood and was married September 10, 1871 to John Doren Morehouse. To this union were born six children, three sons and three daughters. They are G.A. Morehouse of South Bend, Ind.;, Mrs. Carrie Sims, of Edgar, Nebr.; Mrs. Ella Thurber, of Ong, Nebr.; J.E. Morehouse, of Benkleman, Nebr.; W.N. Morehouse, of Belvidere, Nebr.; and Mrs. Nellie Lorenz, of Belvidere, Nebr., all of whom, with the husband, remain to mourn the loss of a faithful and devoted wife and a kind and loving mother. She leaves also two brothers John Williams, of Beardstown, Ill., and George Williams, of Mechanicsburg, Ill. In the spring of 1880 she moved with her husband from Illinois to Edgar, Nebr., where they resided two years, and from there to Davenport, where they lived fourteen years. They then moved back to Edgar for a number of years. Most of her married life was spent near Davenport and Edgar. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Sims, of Edgar, where she spent the last three months of her life. The last six months of her life were ones on continual suffering, but she bore it all patiently, never complaining, always so appreciative of what was being done for her. She was a devoted christian and a profound lover of God's Word. She has the cream of her bible in parentheses. She was a member of the Methodist church practically all her life. Her friends are numbered by her acquaintances. Mother's life is just begun, The race she ran, the crown she won; We lay her here beneath the sod, Her soul's gone home to live with God. --Contribued.
