Description	:	Elsie Ruth Sharp DiCenzo Elsie Ruth Sharp DiCenzo, age 87, of Underwood, Iowa, died June 28, 2017, at Northcrest Living Center. Elsie was born May 23, 1930, to the late Irwin and Blanche (Ellis) Sharp. She graduated in 1948 from Underwood Consolidated School. She married Henry DiCenzo of Lawrence, Mass., in January of 1949. They were married 51 years, until Henry’s death in January of 2000. Elsie ran a coffee shop in Underwood for 8 years, was a nurse aide at Northcrest Care Center for 12 years and also worked at Jennie Edmundson Hospital for 3 years. She started baby-sitting in... Read More	Elsie Ruth Sharp DiCenzo Elsie Ruth Sharp DiCenzo, age 87, of Underwood, Iowa, died June 28, 2017, at Northcrest Living Center. Elsie was born May 23, 1930, to the late Irwin and Blanche (Ellis) Sharp. She graduated in 1948 from Underwood Consolidated School. She married Henry DiCenzo of Lawrence, Mass., in January of 1949. They were married 51 years, until Henry’s death in January of 2000. She started baby-sitting in 1984, and did that until 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, Elsie was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda; and son-in-law, Brian. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Larson, of Underwood; sons, Wayne (Daeanne), of Council Bluffs, Paul (Sue Susor), of Toledo, Ohio, David (Suzanne), of Underwood; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Henry (Viola) Sharp, of Chocorua, N.H.; sisters, Deloris (Duane) Hansen, of Omaha, Shirley (David) Meyers, of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family is Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Monday, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment at Fisher Cemetery, Underwood. A lunch will follow at Underwood Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Underwood Lutheran Church.
