He died in the Methodist Hospital at Sioux City, Iowa, October 6, 1963, at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 14 days. Cause of death was a stroke suffered two weeks previously. Mr. Samson was a farmer and spent his life around Oakland, Rosalie, Bancroft and Mesa, Arizona. He is survived by his widow and six daughters. Mrs. Raymond (Bernice ) Tisbert, Whittier, California; Mrs. John (Vivian) Beukema of Redlands, California, Mrs. Robert (Gale) Ratburn of Casper, Wyoming; Mrs. R. Delbert (Joyce) Turner of San Diego, California; Mrs. Harry (Clarice) Hennig of Rosalie; and MRs. Gene (Floy) Metschke, and also 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one granddaughter.
