Description	:	Frank James Krejci was born to Severin and Marie Tucek Krejci, in Bohemia. He came to the United States with his father and two older sisters in 1903. He married Mabel Alice True on July 8, 1924. Together, they had six children, Frankie, Robert, Jacquelyn, Carol, David and Jimmy Frank. They raised their children in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, living in an apartment at the rear of an automobile garage, where he repaired vehicles, down off of Main street. He came to the United States with his father and two older sisters in 1903. He married Mabel Alice True on July 8, 1924. Together, they had six children, Frankie, Robert, Jacquelyn, Carol, David and Jimmy Frank. They raised their children in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, living in an apartment at the rear of an automobile garage, where he repaired vehicles, down off of Main street. Later on the corner of Patterson Avenue and 9th St, moving later to South 9th St in about the mid 1930s. Frank was a longtime plumber and contractor. He ran a shop called Frank's Plumbing and Heating on Main Street, and built many homes in the Plattsmouth area. Daughter Jackie recalls a fun story about her father. When grandson Mike Munhall was very young, Grandpa Frank would eat dinner at their house on Monday nights. Mike was eating Oreos and taking them apart and licking off the frosting and then putting the cookie down. Frank looked at his daughter and asked her if she was going to let him get away with that. He said he would never have been able to get away with that. Jackie just told him "you never had Oreos". Grandpa loved birthdays and would always sit next to the grandchildren on their birthdays. He was so impatient that he would help them open their gifts if they took too long when they were very young. We have several photos of him sitting next to the birthday child and reaching for the gifts. :) Mae and Frank loved to go out dancing when they were younger, before all the children started arriving. Frank worked in a garage one time, Jackie thinks he may have rented it. They would drive to some other state to pick up cars to sell, and Mae would drive back the new car. She was a brave young woman, driving when not many others of her era did.
