Mr. Nelson was married to Elsie Hodges, September 3, 1907, at Nelson. They had four children Madalene (sic) Graham of Superior, Nebraska, Duane Nelson of Cupertino, California, Phyllis Nelson of Fullerton, California, and Donna Montgomery of Greeley, Colorado. Mr. Nelson was married to Elsie Hodges, September 3, 1907, at Nelson. Mr. Nelson spent his entire life in the Nelson area and was occupied as a farmer and produce dealer. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gourlay Nelson, and two sisters, Carrie Taylor and Henrietta Rouse. He is survived by his wife, four children, six grandchildren, and one sister, Lola Harrington. Services were held Thursday, August 26, at the Klawitter Chapel with Victor Schwarz officiating. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery. Pall bearers were Jake Chapman, Earl Grahm, Chet Shuck, LeRoy Schott, Homer Grahm, and Arthur Haidsiak.
