They had 3 children: Mucidora C. {Bassett} Moore (1851-1880); Mary Edna {Bassett} Nicholson (1853-1878); and Isaac Jefferson Bassett (1859-Unknown). Mary died from childbirth complications about 2 weeks after Isaac's birth, on July 15, 1859. George then married Rachel M. Daniel on March 20, 1860.
