Trickle White was born Oct.10, 1898 and departed from this life at the Ottawa County Hospital May 21, 1966, at the age of 67. Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus Trickle of Oak Hill, Kansas. She was a member of the Baptist church. She lived most of her life in Ottawa County. The years she spent in Minneapolis were spent caring for her family and many friends who needed and called upon her. She was never too busy or too tired to answer a call to sit with a sick friend. When her own health began to fail and she could not give of herself, she encouraged her friends and family to visit her at her home. She was a lovely, devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her delight and she was very proud of each of them. She will be remembered and sadly missed by all her family and a host of friends. She leaves to hold in her loving memory three daughters; Mrs. Lela Goodall and Miss Phyllis White, both of Newton, Kansas; and Mrs. Donna Hudson of Minneapolis; three sons, William of Concordia; Vernon of Wichita; and Donald, Army Sp-5 classification, who has been stationed in Korea; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Baker of Wells and Mrs. Inez Markey of Bennington; three brothers, Art Trickle of Longford; Earnest trickle of Oak Hill; and John Trickle of Oklahoma City; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, besides many nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon May 24 at the Parks-Holtz Funeral Home at two o'clock, with the Rev. Edward Bateman officiating. Mrs. Leo Muller sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset". Mrs. Bill Hemenway was the organist. Pallbearers were Harry Kibler, Earl Delcamp, Albert Hawkins, Joe Jagger, Alfred Kobbeman, Jr. and Earl Farrington. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery at Ada, Kansas.
