Mrs. Anklam had... Read More	MRS. WALTER ANKLAM GOES TO HER REWARD Mrs. Hattie May Anklam, aged 38 years, wife of Walter R. Anklam, died at her home on Columbia Avenue in this city early Wednesday morning after an illness of several years. She was a victim of tuberculosis and had twice been a patient at the Maryland Tuberculosis Sanitarium in an effort to recover her health; and while she received temporary relief, it was realized by her relatives and friends that it was only a matter of time when she must succumb to the ravages of the dreadful disease with which she was afflicted. Mrs. Anklam had been a member of Immanuel M. E. Church for a number of years and was a consistent Christian. She was quiet and unassuming and her sweet disposition endeared her to a wide circle of friends who sincerely regret her death. During the years of her illness she bore her affliction with patience and fortitude and was never known to murmur or complain, but calmly awaited the end when her earthly suffering would be over and she should go to receive the reward of the righteous at the right hand of her heavenly Father. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, both girls, Margaret and Gladys Anklam, aged 14 and 12 years, respectively. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Christy, and two brothers, Clarence A. Christy and George R. Christy also survive. Funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. J.
