Mrs. Worley died May 2 in Moses Lake, WA. She was reared and educated in Seattle, WA and taught rural school in Wash. before serving with the Red Cross in World War I in France and Germany. She moved to the Alliance area shortly after her return from France to live with her father, the late E. P. Coleman who farmed in the Letan area. Helen taught in the same school district where her mother had taught years before in Nebraska. She and Harvey Worley were married in 1922 and farmed in the Snake Creek area until 1955 when they sold the ranch holdings and moved to Hemingford. They resided in Hemingford until 1974 at which time they moved to Moses Lake, Wash. Her husband died in 1974. Since that time, she was active as a volunteer teacher tutor at the Moses Lake Community College and various Elementary schools. She was a long time teacher in the Box Butte County school system both in Snake Creek and Hemingford areas. Survivors include three children, Don of Moses Lake, WA, M.L. Worley of Minneapolis,MN; and a daughter, Suzann Wright of Pasco; and by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial has been established to Martin's Episcopal Church in Moses Lake, Washington.
