Description	:	Howard Cruzan Ruttman, son of Frank and Calla Ruttman, was born January 1st, 1906 at Valparaiso, Nebraska and passed away April 13th, 1972 at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Blue Hill, Nebraska at age 66. When but a youngster of 4 months his family moved to a farm near Nelson, Nebraska where he grew into manhood. When 14 years of age he confessed his Faith in and was baptized into Christ. Read More	Howard Cruzan Ruttman, son of Frank and Calla Ruttman, was born January 1st, 1906 at Valparaiso, Nebraska and passed away April 13th, 1972 at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Blue Hill, Nebraska at age 66. When but a youngster of 4 months his family moved to a farm near Nelson, Nebraska where he grew into manhood. When 14 years of age he confessed his Faith in and was baptized into Christ. On January 1st, 1930, he was united in marriage to Margery Newhouse. To this union was born 7 children. Sometime after the death of Margery in 1942 Howard married Stella Kailey who also passed away in April of last year. Most of Howard's later years were spent in Wyoming and Western Nebraska. While in Wyoming he became a member of the Masonic Lodge. Preceding him in death beside Margery and Stella were his parents, 2 sons, Laurman & William and a brother, Hugh. Survivors include one brother, Harold, one sister, Mrs. Helen Boynton, two sons, Gordon of Nelson, Nebraska, Ron of Chicago, Illinois, three daughters, Jeryne Goodrich of Frankfurt, Germany, Lorene Drohman of Ruskin, Nebraska and Linda Hoins of Deshler, Nebraska, 20 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Services were held Saturday April 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Angus, Nebraska with Rev. Herb Steen officiating. Casket Bearers were Kenneth Grossman, Warren Grossman, Homer Melvin, Robert Shaw, Clarus Whithorn and Martin Whitmore. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska.
