Description	:	FRANK HIGGINS Funeral services for Frank Higgins, 71, were held Friday, January 4, at the Wolfe Funeral HOme, conducted by the Rev. Paul C. Ellis. Mr. Higgins died Tuesday night, January 1, at his home on Eighth street following illness of more than five years. Singing at the funeral was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied by Mrs. Quincy Dunn, and in charge of the flowers were Carron Rynor and Sandra Sturm. James Franklin Higgins, son of Louis and Martha Higgins, was born in Villisca, April 28, 1885. On October 28, 1903 he was united in marriage to Nora Beckwith and to this union seven children were born. Those of them prided him in death two dying in infancy and one son, Lowell, died July 27, 1956. He is survived by his wife, Nora, by three sons, Harold of Omaha, and Elmer and Ted of Villisca, by one daughter, June Strum of Gravity, 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Most of his life was spent in and around Villisca. He spent a few years farming, but most of his life he was employed by the Burlington Railroad.
