Description	:	Janet A. O'Hara, 70, of Council Bluffs died April 24 at her home. She was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Hastings, Neb., to Fred Posvar and Ruth Lawrence Posvar. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She worked as Claims Supervisor for 27 years for USF&G. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Methodist Church and volunteered at church bazaar for 25 years working alongside her mother, daughter, sisters and nieces in the kitchen. Survivors include daughter, Kathy Schuman, and husband, Mitch, of Omaha; sisters, Lela Wymore and husband, Laverne, of Craig, Mo., and Karen McMillen of Council Bluffs; daughter-in-law, Susan O'Hara, of Omaha; grandsons, Eric and Jason Rogers of Omaha, Mike O'Hara and wife, Diane, of Crescent, Craig O'Hara and friend Michelle, of Council Bluffs and Shawn O'Hara of Hubbell, Neb.; granddaughters, Shelly Gerdes, and husband, Rod, of Gretna, Neb. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Young of Fifth Avenue Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Catherine's Catering. Memorials may be offered to Alegent Health Hospice.
