The friends and relatives will gather at the home of A. R. Roudebush at 9:30 o'clock (standard) and Rev. Mr. Ryan of Malvern will conduct services at Mt. Olivet. Mr. Roudebush was a son of Tobias Roudebush and was born in Washington Twp; June 20, 1819. He was one of eighteeen children all of whom are now dead. In 1848 he was married to Jennie Morgan, of which union nine children were born. Six children survive as follows: Mrs. Thomas Miller of Bergholz, W.S. Roudebush of Indiana, A.R. Roudebush, Jason Roudebush and George H. Roudebush of Carrollton, and Mrs. Charles H. Gamble of Cleveland. Two of the children died in infancy and the othe Emanuel died eighteen years ago. All of the surviving children will attend the funeral. In 1862 Mr. Roudebush and his family moved from Washington to Fox and in 1870 they went to Salineville. For the past 20 years however Mr. Roudebush has made his hime in Carrollton with his sin Albert. At one time he conducted a grocery in Carrollton but the greater part of his life was spent on the farm, where he was very successful. Mr. Roudebush was a faithful member of the Disciple Church which he attended as long as one was accessible. In politics he was a staunch Republican. He never held public office but he was always a public spirited citizen whose voice and vote were to be counted on for right and justice. Info from Richard Paul Culler
