Hepler HANOVER -- John Gordon Hepler, 77, of 15311 Folks Road, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 1990, in Oaklawn Hospital, Marshall, after a long illness. He was born in Homer Township and was a life resident of the Homer-Pulaski area. He worked at several companies in the Lansing area, including Fisher Body Division of General Motors. He was employed as security guard supervisor at Harvard Industries. He had been a salesman for Lynn Chevrolet in Homer for several years and had worked at Jackson Harness Raceway for 20 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Concord and was an avid fisherman and active in the mineral rights leasing with the oil fields. He is survived by his wife, the former Charlotte Edwards; daughter, Anne L. Penny of Paducah, Ky. and Kaye Mestdagh of Homer; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Homer Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels.
