Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 9 April 1952 Mrs. Julia Kilroy Passes at Billings Mrs. Julia Ione Kilroy passed away suddenly at Billings, Mont., on Friday, April 4, death being caused by cerebral hemorrhage. The news of her death came as a shock to her relatives and many Fort Benton friends. Mrs. Kilroy was born in Fort Benton Jan. 21, 1890, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Crane, pioneer residents of this city. Mr. Crane passed away in 1913 and Mrs. Crane passed away just about a year ago at the age of nearly 92, after residing here for almost 72 years. Mrs. Kilroy was united in marriage at Basin, Wyo., in 1920, and for a number of years resided there and in Texas, later moving to Billings. She returned to Fort Benton in 1939 to make her home here and help care for her mother. She continued to reside here until after the death of her mother when she again went to Billings to live. While here she was employed in the restaurants as a cook and assistant. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kilroy. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Ezra L. and George W. Crane, Great Falls; Florence McMahon, Los Angeles; Morris H. Crane, Pasadena, Calif.; Gladys Thomason, Detroit, Mich.; Chester Crane, address unknown; and Edward R. Crane, Tacoma, Wash.; and other relatives and many friends. The remains were shipped to Fort Benton and funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Episcopal church. Burial was made in the family plot at Riverside cemetery. The relatives have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavement.
